How to change the start menu bar from vertical to horizontal style?

change the start menu bar rom vertical to horizontal style and placed it at the lower part of the screen.|||What you're referring to is the Windows Taskbar (the one with the Start button).





1) First make sure it is not locked. Right click on an empty area on the taskbar and make sure the "Lock the Taskbar" is NOT checked.





2) Now you should be able to left click on the taskbar and drag it to whichever side of the screen you like.





To keep it in its new place, repeat step 1 but make sure the "Lock the Taskbar" is checked. This will prevent it from getting moved by accident.
