When creating a horizontal menu bar in Dreamweaver CS4, how do you centre text vertically?

In order to fit the menu items in horizontally some of the link text has had to wrap over 2 lines within one button. The only way I know of centring the text in each button is to set line height to the same height as the button but because some text has wrapped within and effectively takes up 2 lines this technique doesn't work. Can anyone help?|||you have to manipulate the css file that controls the way the bar works. let me know if you need further assistance. thanks.
