I want to maintain my favourites in righthandside vertical column,rather than the horizontal bar?

i don't want new favorites to to the horizontal bar|||Dude, you are adding favorites to the Favorites Bar (horizontal bar) by clicking the star with the green arrow. You need to use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+D or click the star with the green cross (use Ctrl+i to list favorites and the star) to Add to Favorites (vertical bar). BTW, the favorites in the Favorites Bar are stored in a folder called Favorites Bar. You can open the folder and drag those favorites to your regular favorites. I suggest you don't delete the folder.
